Additional functions for network management:

software-defined global network (SD-WAN) that does not require licensing;

UniFi Express has full functionality of large UniFi gateways. The only exception is the prevention of intruders with a signature detection method. The routing capacity, taking into account the included security functions, reaches 1 Gbit/s.

UniFi Express can manage a network that includes up to 4 additional devices with UniFi Network (switches, access points or other UniFi Express).

The UniFi Network version 8.0.7 controller is permanently installed on the UniFi Express. To access all other applications of the UniFi ecosystem, for example, to UniFi Protect for outdoor surveillance, add the UniFi Console to the network.

Possible scenarios of application of UniFi Express:
